Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active IL license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Oncology infusion center experience preferred or willingness to complete chemotherapy training within specified timeframe.
• Must complete required education modules and maintain licensure.
• Ability to assess emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Provide compassionate environment and emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Deliver health teaching and counseling to promote optimum health.
• Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document accurately in the medical record and support patient safety and quality care.
