Vivo Infusion is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to oversee infusion care in our multi-clinic Dallas Fort Worth, TX network with a hybrid schedule including telehealth. The role focuses on patient care coordination, care plan development, and partnership with referring physicians to ensure safe, effective infusion services in our ambulatory centers.

Qualifications

• Must have a current license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of service.
• Must have current DEA license.
• ONCC/CRNI Certification preferred.
• Rheumatology and/or infusion experience preferred, but not required.
• 1-3 years in a clinic setting preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills to identify and address patient needs.
• Intermediate computer skills, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates clinical information from referring physician offices and admits appropriate patients for infusion.
• Develops initial plans of care for new patients.
• Monitors plans of care and makes necessary changes.
• Performs pertinent physical exams and assesses suitability for infusion.
• Reviews lab reports and requests diagnostic studies as needed.
• Recognizes situations requiring physician attention and initiates life-saving procedures when necessary.
• Documents infusion orders and notes in the electronic medical record.
