Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Scheduler for its Costa Mesa, CA office to plan and manage schedules on diverse infrastructure projects. The role involves Primavera P6, critical path analysis, and coordinating with project teams to forecast progress and assess risks.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and 3+ years of construction scheduling experience, with strong communication and cost-control knowledge. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or technical training.
• 3+ years’ construction scheduling experience, preferably within water/transport industries.
• Proficiency in Excel, Primavera P6, and other company-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Performs planning and scheduling activities utilizing Primavera and applies project experience to support medium-large projects.
• Provides detailed planning and scheduling from conceptual planning through engineering and construction.
• Develops critical path method scheduling for construction and/or engineering projects.
• Develops schedules for estimates and current projects.
• Performs company scheduling procedures and reporting.
• Coordinates with project teams to assess reporting, risk and forecast accuracy.
• Provides scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate risk.
• Develops schedule logic, durations and resource constraints.
• Assesses design changes impact and informs management and clients of updates.
