Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex utility infrastructure projects across a designated region. You will plan requirements with stakeholders, manage risks, and coordinate schedules while communicating tradeoffs to engineers and executives.

This role sits within Google’s AI and Infrastructure teams, delivering large-scale infrastructure initiatives with a focus on reliability and velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in the construction industry, focusing on project or program management.
• Experience applying project controls (cost, schedule, scope, and risk management).
• Experience delivering utility infrastructure projects (power, water, and roadways).

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for cost, schedule, and change reporting of all utility infrastructure projects within your designated region.
• Ensure timely escalation of all project issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain accuracy of and updates to project-level data within enterprise project management tools.
• Handle regional planning and forecasting to contribute to a global infrastructure capital plan.
• Engage with stakeholders to document, maintain, and improve existing project controls processes.
