Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned infrastructure program leader to guide AWS infrastructure expansion across regions. You will own site selection, due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, and the multidisciplinary design of data center projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Guide expansion of AWS infrastructure in new and existing regions by delivering site risk analysis and due diligence assessments.
• Own infrastructure site selection and due diligence projects, applying standard approaches, templates, designs, and processes.
• Scope, contract, supervise, coordinate, and interpret results of engineering, environmental, and technical studies.
• Manage budgets, establish schedules, escalate technical and project risks, and make trade-offs based on business priorities.
• Own the multidisciplinary preliminary design for sites, assessing real estate, engineering, policy, and business considerations.
