Job summary

Robins Kaplan LLP is seeking an Application and Systems Administrator to join the Infrastructure Operations team. You will maintain server and application infrastructure, manage Intune, NinjaOne, Okta, M365 tools, and backups, monitor systems, apply patches, and handle on-call rotations.

You will also participate in security initiatives, develop and enforce IT policies, document processes, mentor teammates, and provide cross-functional support to ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on Information Security experience preferred.
• Certifications in VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, or Information Security are highly preferred.
• Experience with VMware, networking protocols, and security protocols is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an escalation point for unresolved technical issues for applications, hardware, and processes.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document incidents related to security, software, hardware, or workflows.
• Collaborate with Security Working Group to meet firm’s security goals.
• Monitor system hardware, software, and logs for compliance and threats.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and asset inventory.
• Provide training and mentorship to support team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
• Assist in license and hardware audits.
• Provide backup support for assigned applications and infrastructure.
• Augment the Service Desk during high-demand periods.
• Support other services and projects as requested.
