Job summary

CMTS, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager – Planning & Development M&O to lead capital improvement and modernization projects on-site. You will oversee planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies.

The role requires a minimum of ten years’ experience in managing complex construction programs, with a CCM credential as an advantageous substitute.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of full-time paid professional experience managing public, educational, commercial, or institutional construction projects.
• Experience managing projects through all phases—from initiation to close-out.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects, including pre-construction, planning, design, development, bid and award activities, construction support, and close-out.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure alignment with approved scopes and objectives.
• Develop, organize, and present project status reports, schedules, and presentations for executive leadership.
• Coordinate with public agencies, regulatory authorities, utility providers, and governmental organizations for approvals and compliance.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting of status and expenditures.
