Job summary

Aquent Talent seeks an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead high‑visibility deployment transitions and to act as the single source of truth for complex project activities across multiple sites worldwide, coordinating with engineering, facilities, and vendor teams.

You will coordinate low‑voltage cabling, rack and cabinet access, vendor scheduling, readiness reviews, and documentation, ensuring installations are complete, powered, patched, and validated on time and within budget

Qualifications

• 3+ years of infrastructure or network deployment project management experience.
• 3+ years knowledge of structured cabling and data center infra.
• Familiarity with data center components and layouts.
• Understanding of cabling inventory management and labeling standards.
• Knowledge of fiber/copper types and patch panels.
• 3+ years vendor/contractor coordination for cabling projects.
• Ability to interpret physical network audits and as‑built docs.
• Experience maintaining topology maps and CMDB data.
• Attention to detail in reconciling inventory with configuration data.
• Excellent written communication for status reports and handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment transitions with a single truth platform for planning and tracking.
• Maintain deployment tracker monitoring progress, risks, and blockers.
• Translate survey data and cabling requirements into per-site deployment plans.
• Coordinate low‑voltage cabling work, quotes, schedules, and access.
• Manage cross‑dependencies across cabling, rack/stack, and power readiness.
• Lead readiness reviews ensuring sites are installed, patched, powered, and validated.
• Collaborate with internal engineering on switch configuration and validation.
• Schedule cable-room work with Building Managers and stakeholders.
• Elevate risks and prepare weekly status summaries with decisions needed.
• Refine deployment playbooks for scalable expansion and repeatability.
