Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) AIS seeks a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to lead end-to-end supply chain enablement and hardware fulfillment for launching new availability and local zone sites worldwide.

You will work across manufacturing, logistics, procurement and engineering, managing multiple launches, assessing risks, and communicating status to leadership in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities

• Manage launch of multiple availability and local zones with cross functional stakeholders.
• Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership clearly.
• Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Regional DC Teams, Networking, Services, Trade, etc.
• Flag risk for upcoming launches and communicate with leadership.
• Manage system and supply chain dependencies between launches and negotiate trade-offs.
