Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced leader to head the Infrastructure Project Management Team, developing project managers and delivering complex infrastructure initiatives.

The role combines strong project leadership with technical fluency to partner with engineering teams and business leaders, driving accountability and proactive problem solving.

This hands-on role requires removing obstacles, managing dependencies, and ensuring on-time delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure or enterprise technology projects.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into business impact.
• Experience managing project management professionals.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Infrastructure PM team and sets expectations for delivery, team performance, and accountability.
• Coaches PMs and fosters a culture of proactive ownership, critical thinking, and problem solving.
• Directly manages complex infrastructure projects across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
• Builds partnerships with engineering teams, business leaders, and vendors to remove obstacles and drive delivery outcomes.
• Challenges assumptions, identifies risks and dependencies, and facilitates decision-making to keep projects moving forward.
• Drives consistency in PMO governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Builds high-performing teams through accountability and talent development.
• Communicates project health, risks, and recommendations clearly to enable informed decisions.
