Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) seeks a Technology Intern for its Enterprise Infrastructure team in Columbus, Ohio, to support data center storage for Summer 2027. The program runs May 17 to August 6, 2027, offering immersion into CAS software technologies under professional mentorship.

Interns will work on delivering CAS products, collaborating with product owners, and building cross-functional relationships while advancing technical skills in AI tooling, Linux, containers, and storage

Qualifications

Pursuing an IT-related degree and related discipline, such as CS/IS/Data Analytics/CE.
Some experience with AI tooling, system administration, data center storage, Linux, containers, and Git is preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Create software applications, services, and systems delivering or enhancing CAS products or pipelines.
Collaborate with teammates and product owners to groom backlogs of epics and stories.
Connect across the organization through the Summer Intern Program to build relationships.
Stay abreast of the latest technology trends through training opportunities.
