Job summary

AV is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of analysts and engineers, ensuring seamless DBT Infrastructure operations and unified communications, messaging and identity. The role covers on-premises and cloud identity management, incident resolution, and vendor management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive Windows/Linux admin experience, hands-on automation with PowerShell, and ITIL v4+ knowledge.

Qualifications

• VMware and Azure certifications required or highly preferred.
• 12–15 years of Windows/Linux experience with configuration, automation and management.
• 8–10 years of automation scripting experience (PowerShell or similar).
• 15+ years overall in Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT management or related field.
• ITIL v4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of analysts and engineers delivering unified infrastructure support.
• Provide high-quality resolution of IT Incidents with timely SLAs.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and deployment workflows.
• Oversee on-premises infrastructure components (Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing).
• Lead identity and user management solutions via Azure or 3rd party.
• Review and manage 3rd party invoicing to align with business expectations and SLAs.
• Ensure service levels with vendors and drive improvements.

An infrastructure manager ensures all the DBT Infrastructure systems that support business operations function efficiently. Additionally, the infrastructure manager will supervise a team of analysts and engineers who support and develop specific platforms and will concentrate on unifying communications, messaging and identity toward a seamless user experience. Provide assistance to Service Desk team as escalation point supporting ITIL model.

Position Responsibilities

• People and team manager of team and responsibilities of its members
• Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents
• Server administration Windows and Linux deployment
• Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day to day operational basis.
• On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing
• Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party
• Ownership and review of 3rd party product invoicing. Ensure that incurred costs match business expectations on services provided.
• Follow-up and drive 3rd party product service level agreements to ensure services provided meet ongoing business requirements and contractual agreements with vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

• DesiredCertifications: VMware, Azure
• 12-15 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation, and management.
• 8-10 years of experience with Automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code tools
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology Management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

• Large enterprise-level experience in storage technologies supporting multiple Operating Systems and environments.
• Proficient with Systems performance tuning, capacity management and replication
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties
• Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives
• Takes ownership and responsibility for current and past work products
• Is committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the company

The Salary Range For This Role Is

$106,500 - $162,500
