i3, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, seeks an Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of systems administrators and network engineers. You will design and maintain the in-house network supporting an Army network, with a strong emphasis on Linux, Windows Server, Cisco networking, and security compliance. The role requires 10–15 years of relevant experience, U.S.

Citizenship, and an Active Secret clearance. You’ll drive patching, deployments, and DevSecOps practices while delivering excellent

Responsibilities

Develops, manages, and leads a team of Systems Administrators by providing advice, guidance, learning opportunities, feedback, and training.
Provide technical expertise supporting information system components, infrastructure integration and maintenance to satisfy system security requirements for several stakeholders (e.g., ZTA, MFA); implement policies and procedures for best practices.
Provide direct customer service and technical support to local and remote users via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
Configure information technology infrastructure in accordance with best practices and DISA STIGs.
Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems for RMF accreditation packages.
Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard information systems, networks and databases.
Install software, updates, patches and upgrades.
Understand software configuration management, build, deployment and release management, application lifecycle management, infrastructure, and DevSecOps tools and processes.
Maintain customer-centric support for the technical and cyber team as well as user base.
Coordinate OS, middleware, and database patching; notify affected teams of upgrade/patch activities.
Collaborate with application teams to identify server needs for new applications.
Provide advice and training to end-users and mentoring to junior team members.
Other duties as assigned.

Candidate will be responsible for working closely with the system administrators and end users to properly design and maintain the network. Candidate should have a strong background in Red Hat Linux, Windows Server or Cisco networking.

As the infrastructure manager your role is to ensure the stability, integrity and efficiency of the in-house network that supports an Army network. The Infrastructure Manager will apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments while leading a team of systems administrators and network engineers.

Education/Experience
