Job summary

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Infrastructure Locator I in the Line Maintenance department. The incumbent operates equipment such as trucks, mowers, a variety of power and hand tools in order to accurately locate and mark City owned infrastructure to include but not limited to: water, sewer, storm sewer, traffic control devices, electric lines and fiber optic lines.

Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
• Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma Class \

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark City infrastructure including water, sewer, storm sewer, traffic control devices, electric lines and fiber optic lines.
• Operate equipment such as trucks, mowers, a variety of power and hand tools in order to accurately locate and mark City owned infrastructure.
• Safety-focused and able to work in field and office environments.
