Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a Field Construction Leader to oversee and direct field construction activities for assigned crafts in line with plans, schedules and budgets. You will guide foremen and craft personnel to meet project objectives, ensuring safety and quality during execution.

The role requires strong communication, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams on complex sites. This on-site position supports large-scale projects in Texas.

Qualifications

• Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope.
• Directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge to complete the job.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the work activities within assigned construction crafts in alignment with engineering deliverables, tools, equipment and materials; coordinate with other crafts as necessary.
• Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules.
• Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities.
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate options; recommend/implement action.
• Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
• Typically direct subordinate Craft Superintendents within assigned craft; coordinate activities within active construction area.
