Job summary

Arena Intelligence is hiring an engineer to build the core infrastructure under our online evaluation systems, enabling scalable AI gateways, runtimes, and serving layers.

As an early member of the infrastructure team, you’ll work with researchers and product leaders to ship low-latency, enterprise-grade APIs, observability tools, and secure, well-documented interfaces across Leaderboards and Evals platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Rust with API experience.
• Experience with LLM provider APIs and streaming challenges.
• Cloud infra skills with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Build API-based products from the ground up with low latency.
• Solve streaming problems across heterogeneous providers.
• Ship enterprise-grade infrastructure with security and observability.
• Instrument infrastructure with tracing and real-time dashboards.
• Build AI-centered products and integrate with evaluation platform.
• Flex across the stack, contributing to Leaderboards and Evals.
