The Opportunity:

CCA is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Infrastructure Engineer (Network) to provide advanced technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Force Status and Readiness (FSR) system and the NC2 Conference Module provided by the Decision Support Service (DSS) program. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network services that enable mission success. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Installs, configures, and supports network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Configures firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Maximizes network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Performs network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Operates and maintains all RBS server, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Provides A&E support for LAN, WAN, and VoIP infrastructures, and voice and data network systems.
  • Refactors, where necessary, existing infrastructure as code.
  • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS + 10 YRS in related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering or a related discipline.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience working within military or government environments is highly desirable.
  • Required 8140 Cert: 671 - Intermediate; CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or SSCP or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC; OR applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR training AND additional cert.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
  • Proficient in network security principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

The salary range varies based on factors like location, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Proposed salary range: $90,700 - $199,600
