Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC in Aurora, CO is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software in a secure environment requiring TS/SCI with poly. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and document applications and support end-to-end baselines for mission-critical systems.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in Java or C++, plus familiarity with Git/Bitbucket, Linux, SQL, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform in-depth analysis and assessment with an end-to-end perspective of a complex system in operations.
• Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date.

Basic Quals:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with coding software in Java, or C++
• Experience in software development and/or software integration

Preferred Quals:

• Experience with software configuration management systems such as git or bitbucket
• Ability to work in a structured configuration-controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time software applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract
• Linux/Unix, GIT, and SQL experience
• JIRA, BitBucket and Confluence experience desired
