This position involves performing complex technical tasks related to the configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of the County's infrastructure. The role serves as a technical leader and subject matter expert, designing, analyzing, managing, and maintaining server infrastructures and storage systems, and providing support and training to staff and users.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring hardware and software upgrades for server performance.
2. Implementing real-time monitoring to identify and resolve outages and resource shortages.
3. Researching and recommending system enhancements and upgrades.
4. Developing standards, policies, procedures, and documentation.
5. Providing complex technical support and serving as a project technical lead.
6. Leading during major server incidents and coordinating resolution efforts.
7. Advising on system infrastructure planning and evaluating vendor solutions.
8. Maintaining technical documentation and providing user training.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of virtualized infrastructure, Linux and Windows OS, data center management, and cloud computing.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, storage, disaster recovery, and backup environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supporting IT in a hospital setting and supporting Hyperconverged solutions and VMware Horizon environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience supporting and implementing IT infrastructure.
