Job summary

FlightSafety International Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to shape and govern the enterprise technology architecture. You will guide Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Helm configurations, and IaC practices, enabling scalable, secure aviation training platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects and product teams to drive modernization, automate deployments, and maintain robust, observable systems across cloud and data-center environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent or industry experience.
  • Certifications in Infrastructure disciplines strongly desired (e.g., cloud or vendor certs).
  • 3+ years design and implementation in IT with infra and network focus.
  • Exposure to multiple configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with network deployment, management, monitoring, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business strategy to derive future-state technology architecture.
  • Identify deficiencies and debt; propose improvements and industry trends.
  • Collaborate to develop architecture enabling new business capabilities.
  • Lead digital innovation and migration planning across core infra.
  • Design and manage containerized infrastructure with Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for deployments.
