Job Descriptions:

• In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Infrastructure Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Infrastructure Engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Your Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Innovation Labs engineering team, use hands-on technical knowledge to engineer, operate, and support systems and platforms to deliver solutions to internal customers.
• Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address complex technical problems.
• Ensure uptime, stability, and compliance across all systems and environments.
• Automate support using scripting and infrastructure as code for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures.
• Design and implement security best practices and zero trust principles across all lab systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and development partners for effective delivery, deployment, and support.

What you bring:

• Hands-on operational and engineering support experience across hardware, OS, and software platforms.
• Desire to learn new technologies and independently solve technical challenges.
• Ability to quickly acquire new skills and adapt.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Proven experience in configuring, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting core Infrastructure domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, Virtualization.

Platform and Technology Experience:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022; Windows 10/11
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 9

Advanced Technologies:

• Microsoft Domain Services, Active Directory, Group Policy, System Center, Windows Update Services, DNS
• Virtualization and container technologies like vSphere and NSX

Automation and Cloud:

• Scripting with PowerShell, BASH, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, including tenant management, hybrid connectivity, and identity services.

Physical Work Requirements:

• Onsite presence in Charlotte, NC when required
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work in server rooms, and navigate infrastructure spaces.

Preferred Skills:

• Red Hat Satellite administration
• API development and usage
• Certifications in Azure and Google Cloud
• OpenShift experience
• Knowledge of C# or similar languages
