Job summary

IPS LLP in the United States seeks an experienced 3rd line IT support professional to provide advanced technical assistance to internal users via phone, Teams and remote access, and to troubleshoot complex Azure and Microsoft 365 issues.

You will manage user administration, enforce access controls, oversee Intune and Autopilot, support security tooling, and collaborate with the IT team on projects and migrations, ensuring high service levels and secure, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in IT support or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Experience with user administration, access controls, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs and DNS management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and wider IT infrastructure.

• Act as an escalation point for other members of the IT support team.

• Assist with IT integration work arising from business acquisitions.
• Help maintain secure and reliable systems, including network access, VPNs and DNS.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the organisation's IT environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• At least five years' experience in IT support or infrastructure, ideally with exposure to 3rd Line responsibilities.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud administration.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365, including Office applications, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Purview.
• Experience with user administration, access controls, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs and DNS management.
• Knowledge of Teams Telephony.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider IT team.

• Cloud infrastructure and storage backups.
