Role Overview

We’re seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Backend‑focused) to help build and scale the systems that power secure, reliable deployments of Compliance OS.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across GCP (primary), AWS, and Azure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for consistent, repeatable environments.
• Architect and implement multitenant systems, balancing isolation, performance, and operational complexity.
• Troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure, networking, and backend services.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to support platform features, APIs, and system integrations.
• Improve observability through metrics, logging, tracing, and incident response practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend and infrastructure engineering experience across cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code or environment automation.
• Ability to design and reason about multitenant architectures (isolation, upgrades, blast radius).
• Comfortable working across the stack when needed to debug and support application behavior.
• Ownership mindset: proactive communication, strong debugging skills, and accountability for production systems.
• Works well in a fast‑paced, startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Bonus: experience with Kubernetes, security hardening, observability, or compliance/GRC systems.
