Job summary

Valitana is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support daily IT needs and internal operations while building cloud/platform engineering skills. You’ll help maintain stability and enable senior engineers to scale platform improvements.

Responsibilities include onboarding, ticket handling, system monitoring, patching, AWS tasks, and maintaining documentation with Jira. Collaboration across technical and non-technical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of IT support, systems administration, or cloud/infrastructure experience.
• Basic security, patching, and vulnerability awareness.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging/observability tools and networking basics.

• Handle internal IT and infrastructure requests and monitor systems.

Position Overview

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cloud/infrastructure environments
• Basic understanding of security best practices (patching, vulnerability management)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)
• Familiarity with Windows environments and endpoint management systems (e.g., Intune, MDM tools)
• Experience with or exposure to identity and access management concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage tasks and communicate clearly using tools like Jira or similar systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in cloud and platform engineering
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams
• Proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvements

What We Offer

Base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer-matched retirement plan, healthcare with medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and PTO.

Employees in this role will work in the office Monday through Wednesday with the flexibility to work remotely Thursday and Friday.
