Job summary

Valitana LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day IT needs and assist in cloud/platform engineering. You will help ensure operational stability and enable senior engineers to focus on scalable platform improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in IT support or cloud environments, experience with monitoring tools, and strong collaboration across teams. Hybrid office schedule in Plano, with some remote work options.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cloud/infrastructure environments.
• Basic understanding of security best practices (patching, vulnerability management).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs).
• Familiarity with Windows environments and endpoint management systems (e.g., Intune, MDM tools).
• Experience with or exposure to identity and access management concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new hire onboarding (device setup, access provisioning, Intune configuration).
• Handle IT and infrastructure support requests from internal teams.
• Monitor systems, alerts, and basic health checks.
• Assist with security patching and vulnerability tracking/remediation.
• Support AWS operational tasks under guidance (resource reviews, basic automation).
• Maintain and improve documentation and runbooks.
• Track and manage work via Jira and internal systems.

Position Overview

Valitana is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day operations and internal IT needs while developing foundational skills in cloud and platform engineering. The individual in this role will help ensure operational stability and will enable senior engineers to focus on scalable platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support new hire onboarding (device setup, access provisioning, Intune configuration)
• Handle IT and infrastructure support requests from internal teams
• Monitor systems, alerts, and basic health checks
• Assist with security patching and vulnerability tracking/remediation
• Support AWS operational tasks under guidance (resource reviews, basic automation)

• Track and manage work via Jira and internal systems

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of security best practices (patching, vulnerability management)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar)

What We Offer

• Base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000.
• Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus.
