Infrastructure and Energy Resources Planner (Sacramento Office)

$155,376.00 - $188,988.80 Annually

*Please note that an additional 3% salary adjustment will be provided on January 9, 2027 per the Middle Managers Bargaining Unit Memorandum of Understanding.*

This position is located in the Kern County Water Agency's (Agency) Sacramento office. This position will be responsible for assisting with or leading activities related to the Agency’s infrastructure and energy interests in the State Water Project and Kern County water-related facilities. This position will represent the Agency on various committees and participate with representatives of other federal, State and local agencies in meetings and processes that affect the Agency’s infrastructure and energy interests in the State Water Project and Kern County water-related facilities.

All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with applicable coursework. All applicants are also required to have five (5) years of experience of increasingly responsible experience performing engineering, energy resources or planning-related functions; one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
