Responsibilities

• Develop and modify floorplans for building A/V systems, video conferencing, IoT devices, network drops, etc.
• Have experience working with floorplans and knowledge of infrastructure design and general building construction.
• Identify problems and offer solutions within Space Optimization and Utilization Project (SOUP) designs.
• Attend meetings on space design and planning.
• Serve as liaison to Workplace Solutions management.
• Use Bluebeam Revu and other software for design.
• Work with Department of General Services Bureau of Real Estate, Capital Programs, vendors, lessors, and contractors involved in SOUP projects.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Telecom, Network Operations, and Video Conference teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building infrastructure, construction processes, and architectural drawings – 2+ years of experience.
• Problem‑solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions within space planning (SOUP) designs – 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and related design software – 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to design and modify floorplans for AV, telecom, IoT, and network infrastructure – 2+ years of experience.
