Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our Chandler-based team. You will design and deploy CTI Database Platform services, develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible, and drive automation to enable complex deployments.

You will collaborate across engineering and platform teams to improve reliability and efficiency, promoting DevOps best practices and automation-first thinking while managing database lifecycle actions within PaaS IaC pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer for enterprise-scale platforms
• 2+ years hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience
• 2+ years hands-on Ansible playbooks and automation experience
• 2+ years CI/CD tooling experience (Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible Tower)
• 2+ years working in a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting enterprise‑scale platforms and services
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
