Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Project Manager in New York, NY, to oversee design and construction for complex transportation projects. The role lies within the Construction Management department and involves coordinating activities, ensuring quality standards, and interfacing with contractors and client senior managers.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of relevant experience, including two years in managing all construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of full-time progressively responsible work in construction/design fields; two years must involve managing all phases of construction work.
• A driver’s license valid in New York State.
• A satisfactory combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and coordination of design and construction activities for complex projects under senior supervision.
• Ensure quality and standards of performance and compliance among consultants and vendors.
• Make timely decisions to expedite construction and manage project schedules within approved budgets.
• Prepare and maintain schedules for planning, design and construction; monitor to ensure on-time completion.
• Interface with contractors, construction managers, and client senior managers on project issues.
