Job summary

Talent Portus is seeking a senior Infrastructure/Solution/Cloud Architect to lead large-scale enterprise solutions from design through implementation. You will oversee cloud architecture, security, governance, and collaboration with business and technical teams in a hybrid Richmond, VA environment.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise architecture and strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution/Enterprise Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong architectural modeling and data management experience.
• Enterprise integration, APIs, REST, JSON, XML, and SOA.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and technical team management skills.
• Experience with security architecture and best practices.
• Ability to create logical/physical architecture diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps.

Job Description

We are seeking a senior Infrastructure/Solution/Cloud Architect to provide technical leadership for a large-scale enterprise technology solution. The architect will oversee solution design, integration, cloud architecture, security, technical governance, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Solution/Enterprise Architecture

• 10+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms

• Strong architectural modeling and data management experience

• Enterprise integration, APIs, REST, JSON, XML, and SOA

• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and technical team management skills

• Experience with security architecture and best practices

• Ability to create logical/physical architecture diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps

Preferred Experience

• Large-scale healthcare or government IT systems

• Medicaid, MMIS, or MES

• MITA and CMS requirements

• Healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR and X12

• HIPAA and NIST security controls

• ETL, relational databases, data warehousing, and legacy systems

• Java, Node.js, Angular, React, Python, HTML5

• Experience working with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams
