Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an experienced Construction/Project Manager in Seattle, WA. You will monitor compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental documents, perform daily field inspections, and coordinate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. or higher in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, PE/CCM eligibility within a year, and 5–8+ years of water/wastewater

Qualifications

  • B.S. or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PE Licensure and/or CCM or able to obtain one within the first year.
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in construction/project management in the water/wastewater industry. Experience should include day to day project management, supervising project inspections, project documentation, change management, estimating, scheduling, and claim mitigation

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, coordinate, and enforce construction compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental documents.
  • Perform daily field inspection of construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Monitor, coordinate and enforce construction compliance with contract documents and safety regulations and communicate with contractors, entities, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Identify non-compliant work and take appropriate action to bring back into compliance.
  • Immediately report critical issues and/or possible delays and monitor and document all construction equipment, personnel, and activities.
  • Occasionally manage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverables.
  • Monitor contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness and effectiveness and perform constructability review of design plans.
  • Exert influence over contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc., and manage the contractor payment process and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of safety and health requirements and ensure compliance of applicable regulations and contract provisions for the protection of the public and construction project personnel.
  • Ensure all changes and/or modifications are noted on the final plans and perform constructability review of design plans.
