Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects in Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned Construction Administrator/Project Manager to define and review scope of work, and lead constructability reviews for major public/private infrastructure programs.

You’ll coordinate with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative, perform value engineering at the design outset, and ensure cross-discipline coordination on complex projects with values well above $8M.

Qualifications

• 15 years of full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following requirements.
• 10 years as Construction Administrator.
• 5 years as Designer.
• Construction Administrator experience on public/educational facilities with $8M+ value.
• Alternative path: 15 years as Project Superintendent/PM on large projects >$30M.
• Two years of college coursework; five years experience may substitute education.
• Proficient in writing RFCs, reviewing submittals and change orders.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements.
• Provide value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design.
• Comment on design deliverables to reduce RFIs and Change Orders by identifying inconsistencies and errors.
• Ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents.
• Coordinate efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Onsite at client site; work location is onsite with clients and partners.

THE WORK:

• You’ll assist in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document scope of work and schedule including interim housing requirements.

• You’ll ensure documents are coordinated between design disciplines.
• You’ll prepare comprehensive constructability review of pre-bid construction documents.
• You’ll coordinate the above efforts with the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative in a collaborative way.
• You’ll perform other duties as assigned.
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

$191,000 - $210,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 15 years’ full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following:
• a. 10 of those years must be acting as a Construction Administrator
• b. 5 years remaining must be acting as a Designer.
• c. Construction Administrator experience shall be on a public/educational facility construction project with full responsibility for supporting those projects
• d. Projects shall have a construction value of $8M or more for a single project or with a combined cumulative project value of $80M OR
• 15 years full time paid professional experience as a Project Superintendent or Project Manager on a public/educational facility construction and/or large commercial projects with full responsibility for coordinating complex projects with construction value of a single project in excess of $30M with a combined cumulative project value of $400M OR
• Minimum of two (2) years of college level coursework from a recognized college, university or trade school and five (5) years additional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement
• Proficient in writing RFC’s, reviewing submittals and change orders
• Proficiency in computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.), including Bluebeam
