Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking an Estimator located at our plant in Auburn, WA. The role centers on accurate cost take-offs from drawings to produce competitive proposals in collaboration with sales, engineering and production teams.

The position emphasizes meticulous analysis of drawings and documents, coordinating internally to deliver timely quotes and improve bid outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of construction and/or bidding experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete take-offs and quotes for RFQs.
• Send quotes before due date, with outside sales copied on all correspondence.
• Communicate with customer regarding quantity verification and quote structure.
• Work with the sales team on proposal strategy, basis-of-design changes, or value engineering options.
• Work with vendors to prepare bids and write proposals.
• Manage bids that range in size and complexity.
