Role Overview

We are looking for an infrastructure/automation engineer to join our Route36 @ Meta team working on Meta’s BBE-IP team, responsible for designing, building, and operating Meta's global IP network infrastructure. The ideal candidate would be a full-stack engineer with networking experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
• 4 to 6 years of network engineering experience
• CCNP/JNCIP certification or equivalent knowledge
• Minimum 7 years experience in a technical, individual contributor role
• Self-motivated, results-driven, with a passion for learning
• Strong communication skills

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Perl, C/C++, or Go
• Extensive experience with bash scripting
• Experience in network automation projects and tooling
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT, SVN, or HG
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab
• Familiarity with network testing platforms and protocols (TCP, IPv4/6, BGP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow, SSH, HTTPS/SSL, AAA)
