As a Principal Infrastructure Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in translating business requirements into tailored infrastructure builds that leverage Siemens Digital Industries Software standard methodologies. You'll lead enterprise-scale solution deliveries, assess customer environments, and develop resilient, scalable infrastructures while ensuring compatibility with existing systems. You'll maintain critical customer relationships, establish architectural standards, conduct meticulous reviews, and uphold compliance and industry standards, driving continuous improvement and innovation that improve performance and scalability across our customer base.
Own the design and delivery of enterprise-scale infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with long-term business objectives
Translate business, program, and technical requirements into end-to-end infrastructure architectures that follow industry guidelines, organizational standards, and customer IT strategies
Serve as the senior technical authority for infrastructure architecture, providing expert mentorship on system sizing, performance, availability, security, networking, operating systems, and database platforms
Ensure all solutions follow security, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements while upholding professional standards and organizational values
Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Product teams to support pursuits, influence solution roadmaps, and guide customers through architectural options and trade-offs
Engage with customers to understand technical and business requirements, translating them into practical, value-driven infrastructure solutions
Maintain customer relationships and handle project documentation standards to ensure clarity and alignment across all project phases
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to other infrastructure architects and consultants, elevating architectural maturity and guidelines across the organization
Conduct architectural reviews to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment to standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative practices that improve organizational capabilities
Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Architect or Consultant delivering enterprise-scale solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure designs
Deep knowledge and practical experience with performance tuning for enterprise infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, security, high availability, and disaster recovery
Proven experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and enterprise database platforms such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
Proven customer-facing consulting skills, including partner engagement, expectation management, and technical communication with both technical and executive audiences
Ability to work independently under self-management, providing leadership within project and program constraints

Experience serving as Lead Infrastructure Architect on strategic, large-scale, or global consulting programs
Experience driving automation, standardization, and reusable architecture patterns through scripting, templates, or reference architecture
Demonstrated experience mentoring other architects or consultants and contributing to communities of practice or knowledge sharing initiatives
Experience with Siemens Digital Industries Software Teamcenter or Opcenter platforms
Experience with enterprise-grade software platforms in Product Lifecycle Management or Manufacturing Operations Management domains
Familiarity with containerization and modern deployment approaches (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in enterprise or cloud environments
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Security, or Infrastructure-related certifications)
Exposure to highly regulated environments (ITAR, NIST, GDPR, FDA)

The total cash compensation range for this position is $146,700 to $293,400 with 10% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.

This role is primarily remote with the option for hybrid work at a Siemens DISW office hub. Some travel (up to 25%) may be required for customer engagements. Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
