The role is based with primary performance at the contractor site, with periodic attendance at various DLA sites, including Dayton, OH. The incumbent will lead design, implementation, security, performance optimization, patching, and migration of Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Ten years of Oracle database administration experience.
• Experience with DoD or federal Oracle environments.
• Hands-on Oracle administration, OEM 13c, replication, disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, security, and migration of Oracle enterprise databases.
• Oversee High Availability, replication, backup/recovery, DR, and OEM 13c monitoring; mentor DBAs.

Job Summary

B&A is seeking an Infrastructure Application and Database SME – Oracle to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure Support Services.

• Anticipated Award: November/December 2026
• Anticipated Start Date: December 2026
• Period of Performance: 1 Base + 1 Option Year

Location

Note: The primary place of performance will be at the contractor’s place of performance and/or Off-Site. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at one of the following DLA sites: Dayton, OH; Columbus, OH; Tracy, CA; New Cumberland, PA; Richmond, VA; Battle Creek, MI; or Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, security, performance optimization, patching, and migration of Oracle enterprise databases.
• Lead Oracle high availability, replication, backup/recovery, disaster recovery and OEM 13c monitoring; mentor DBAs and engineers.

Education and Experience

• Ten years of database administration and infrastructure management focused on Oracle.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal enterprise Oracle database environments.
• Hands-on Oracle administration, OEM 13c, replication, disaster recovery, cybersecurity and technical leadership.

Required Certifications

• One of the following CE: Oracle OCA/OCP or Oracle WebLogic Server 12c or higher
