Job summary

WSP USA is seeking recent graduates for the Advisory & Planning Associate Program with a start in August 2027 in Washington, DC, Chicago, NY, or San Francisco. The role focuses on infrastructure planning, funding, analysis, and policy development within a cross-disciplinary team.

Successful candidates will engage in financial modeling, research, and strategic support across Transportation, Water, Buildings, Energy, and Environment sectors, with opportunities for professional growth and placement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil/environmental/electrical engineering, business, urban or transportation planning, computer/data science, environmental science, or related field or Bachelor’s with 1–3 years experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated research skills and experience
• Ability to think creatively, work independently, and deliver high quality work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team environment, synthesize problems, and communicate findings and analyses
• Proactive and curious about new fields and networking opportunities
• Proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
• Interest or experience in infrastructure industries
