Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee accounting for Meta's infrastructure portfolio, focusing on US GAAP and financial reporting across energy, cloud, and procurement. The role entails ownership, problem solving, and partnering with cross-functional teams.

You will lead a team, design scalable processes, manage SOX controls, present quarterly results to Finance leadership, and drive automation including AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 12+ years of accounting experience.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and complex arrangements.
• SOX/internal controls experience.
• Strong business acumen with cross-functional partnerships.
• Proven ability to communicate with leadership.
• Experience with end-to-end systems impacting accounting.
• Experience in financial statements and analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy, cloud and infrastructure procurement accounting.
• Review and advise on accounting for energy portfolios and contracts.
• Oversee cloud computing arrangements and committed capacity.
• Serve as accounting decision-maker on complex procurement.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and Audit teams globally.
• Design scalable controls and SOX processes.
• Present quarterly close packages to Finance leadership.
• Drive process improvements and automation including AI tooling.
