Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Wire Bonding Technician to join our imaging team in Lexington, MA. You will wire bond image sensors into ceramic packages, test silicon wafers, and inspect sensor assemblies in a clean room environment.

You will collaborate with engineers, operate custom test equipment to collect image data, and ensure high-precision packaging of infrared sensors, primarily on a day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM).

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience using precision test and measurement equipment for hardware development or production.
• Experience collecting data from devices under test (DUTs) using test and inspection equipment.
• Ability to handle delicate microelectronics and perform ultra-fine motor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Package, test and wire bond infrared image sensors in a clean room.
• Handle and test silicon wafers in automated probe test stations.
• Mount, wire bond sensors into ceramic packages using a wire bonder.
• Visually and electrically inspect fully packaged sensor assemblies.
• SCA installation into a liquid nitrogen high vacuum test station.
• Most tasks performed in the cleanroom environment.
• Operate custom test equipment to collect image data with automated tools.
