Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors is seeking an Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and repair semiconductor process equipment in the cleanroom environment. You will maintain and service equipment, replace components, and assist in purchasing new capital gear.

This role requires hands-on experience with vacuum, cryogenics, and related systems, and may involve lifting and respirator use. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical skills, screen for downtime reductions, and communicate effectively with

Qualifications

• Repair experience on semiconductor process equipment.
• Experience with high vacuum systems, cryogenics, gas cabinets, coating and etching.
• Lithography experience is a plus.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a respirator.
• U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic troubleshooting and reads/understands electrical schematics.
• Maintains semiconductor process equipment in the cleanroom to minimize downtime.
• Maintains and replaces related equipment in cleanroom chases and compressors.
• Performs gas cylinder changes and maintains spares.
• Coordinates with facilities, vendors, and suppliers to reduce downtime.
• Works with MES for data recording and reporting.
