You will perform mounting, packaging, epoxy application, and dimensional verification using a microscope within a cleanroom to support infrared sensor production for space and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform assembly tasks using a microscope.
• Knowledge of adhesives usage, mixing, and application, bonding techniques, surface preparations, cleanroom protocol and ESD rules.
• Flexibility to perform a wide variety of processes across multiple products; mechanically inclined and able to work autonomously.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and diagrams.
• Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and packaging components.
• Epoxy application and precision mounting with dimensional verification.
• Perform processes in semiconductor cleanroom.
• Inspect detector and mux components per procedures.
• Document observations and prepare parts for further processing.
• Evaluate parts per Quality Assurance requirements.
