Job summary

AMT, Inc. seeks a mid-level IT Infrastructure & Security Administrator to back up the Infrastructure & Security Lead and own daily operations. The role supports CMMC compliance, AI tool initiatives, and modern server environments. Hybrid schedule with growth to senior leadership as the firm expands.

Responsibilities include managing servers, networks, and cloud infra across multiple locations, and assisting with Microsoft 365, security tooling, and incident response. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in IT infrastructure, systems admin, or security engineering.
• Hands-on Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of networking: firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP.
• Familiarity with NIST/CMMC or similar frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.
• Excellent communication to explain tech to non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure across multiple office locations.
• Serve as primary backup for infrastructure and security functions, including on-call evenings/weekends.
• Support CMMC Level 1 & 2 compliance, including docs and policy enforcement.
• Assist in managing Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID).
• Maintain cybersecurity posture: endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability mgmt, incident response.
• Support buildout of after-hours helpdesk rotation; travel to locations as needed.
• Contribute to AI tool evaluation, deployment, and internal training.
• Support office infrastructure across outlying locations.
