Job summary

Allstate Foundation is seeking a Digital Product Manager Expert for a defined Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product area. You will translate the broader vision into a focused strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes, improving how infrastructure is created, changed, secured and recovered by promoting reusable, tested capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in digital product management with independent ownership and execution of product strategy across multiple release cycles.
Minimum 2 years of experience coaching or mentoring product management colleagues.
Demonstrable product experience in infrastructure, cloud, compute, or Platform as a Service.
Demonstrable knowledge of infrastructure automation and engineering practices (Terraform or OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, CI/CD, or reusable components).
Proven delivery across multiple Agile release cycles with hands-on Jira or Azure DevOps to manage backlogs and delivery tracking.
Evidence of defining user stories and acceptance criteria and partnering with multiple teams.
Proven use of product metrics to prioritize and improve products (adoption, lead time, reliability, etc.).

Responsibilities

Own and communicate the product strategy, vision and roadmap for Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product areas.
Translate customer and engineering problems into prioritized capabilities, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Lead discovery and test-and-learn activity with engineers, platform teams, operations, architects, security, and customers.
Prioritize reusable, tested, and supported capabilities that reduce manual hand-offs and inconsistencies.
Partner with engineering to assess and sequence Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible, source control, testing, pipelines, and reusable components.
Define and monitor product performance measures including adoption, reuse, lead time, and reliability.
Use customer insights and constraints to guide incremental releases and transparent trade-offs.
Drive adoption across teams with onboarding, documentation, and feedback loops.
Influence stakeholders across distributed teams and mentor junior product managers.
