Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an engineer to join the System Team of the Infotainment Development Department.

The Sound and Bluetooth Engineer will support North American infotainment system development and validation, reviewing specs, creating tests, and validating features across radio, media, audio, Bluetooth, navigation, OTA, and connected car domains. The role emphasizes testing with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, using sniffers and audio tools, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in developing specifications and validation tests for infotainment.
• 1+ years of experience in infotainment hardware/software design and validation.
• Experience with embedded systems validation and in-vehicle communications.
• Familiarity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay testing.
• Strong problem solving and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and create validation test procedures.
• Conduct bench and vehicle field validation tests.
• Evaluate system interactions and troubleshoot issues with suppliers.
• Develop and validate radio, media, Bluetooth, navigation, OTA, and connected car features.
• Create technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with infotainment software, hardware, product strategy, and autonomous teams.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
