Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in automotive design with CATIA proficiency, GD&T know‑how, and DFMEA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years automotive mechanical design experience.
• Strong CATIA skills (Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting).
• Experience with Automotive Infotainment (IVI) systems or interior modules.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up, DFMEA.
• Experience from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for Automotive Infotainment (IVI) systems.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA.
• Perform packaging studies, tolerance analysis, and design feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for system integration.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change requests.
• Ensure designs comply with Honda engineering standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to support development and production readiness.
