Job summary

A degree track in CS/CE/IT with a network focus is required or recently completed. Responsibilities include evaluating security measures, advising clients on assurance standards, and contributing to secure design reviews.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS/CE/IT with networking emphasis.
• Knowledge of security infrastructure concepts and threat assessment is preferred.
• Experience with network security devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess security infrastructure and network/system design for security enhancements.
• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, apps, and initiatives.
• Oversee development, testing, and operation of firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, and deployment tools.
• Develop policies and procedures for securing system infrastructure and applications.
• Produce technical assessments and support evaluation of security standards and guidelines.
• Perform product evaluations and recommend security products/services.
• Interact with clients to advise on information assurance standards and implementation considerations.
