Job summary

Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado seeks an Information Security leader to guide the district's security program, focusing on incident response, security monitoring, and risk management. The role requires strong leadership, threat intelligence, and ability to communicate security posture to leadership while ensuring continuity of educational services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field such as computer science, engineering or business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in information security with incident response and enterprise operations.
• Experience leading security teams and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day incident response operations and playbooks.
• Lead secure design, implementation, and operation of district platforms.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define security policies.
• Train and mentor security personnel in threat detection and risk management.
• Oversee third party security assessments and risk reporting.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and perform risk analysis with measurable goals.
