Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ, seeks a Lead, Information Security Regulatory & Compliance Support to coordinate responses to regulators and audits. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least 3 days per week and collaborates across Legal, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams.

You will manage intake, tracking, evidence collection, response development, and submission readiness while promoting a culture of regulatory accountability and practical governance aligned to business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams/audit responses in a regulated environment, with evidence collection, drafting, approvals, and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks (e.g., NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, FFIEC, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2).
• Ability to translate technical implementations into regulator-ready narratives and evidence packages.
• Operational excellence: manage SLAs, trackers, and drive closure across engagements.
• Strong partnership with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, and technology teams.
• Experience maintaining examination/audit tracking processes, evidence repositories, and reporting standards.
• Excellent writing/editing skills for regulator/auditor-ready responses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to regulatory examinations, audits, assessments, and information requests.
• Maintain centralized trackers and auditable submission records with owners and due dates.
• Collect, validate, and align supporting evidence with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare leaders and SMEs for regulatory interactions, audits, and walkthroughs.
• Develop briefing materials, FAQs, questions, and supporting documentation.
• Track regulatory observations, audit findings, and remediation commitments.
• Monitor trends to improve readiness and reduce friction.
• Maintain evidence repositories, playbooks, and templates; improve workflows.
