Job Description

One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard an InfoSec Project Manager to their team. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing InfoSec related projects, collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of cross-functional efforts, and acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners. They will coordinate meetings, track project status, and provide regular updates to leadership and support Microsoft-focused projects and environments, ensuring security considerations are integrated throughout. This is a 2-3 month contract with possibility for extensions and will be remote working Pacific Time.

Required Skills & Experience

Solid experience in Information Security, with a strong understanding of general InfoSec principles and practices.

• Experience leading and managing InfoSec-related projects, with a focus on log collection and visibility initiatives.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand technical conversations and translate them into actionable plans.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in Microsoft environments (e.g., Azure, M365, Defender).
• Familiarity with higher education institutions or similar environments.
• Experience working with managed service providers or SOC teams.
• Experience within Higher Education
