Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. seeks a Lead, Information Security Policy & Enablement (Finance) to bridge Secure Governance with business, product, technology, and corporate functions.

You will shape policy communication and adoption across the enterprise, reporting to the Director of Information Security Governance. The role is hybrid with on-site presence required several days weekly at our Newark, NJ office, collaborating with risk, compliance, legal, audit and product teams to ensure policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Experience supporting information security governance, policy management, compliance programs, or technology risk initiatives.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, FFIEC, NYDFS, SOC, or similar standards.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts and governance expectations into practical guidance for diverse audiences.
• Strong communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience influencing across technology, business, risk, compliance and audit teams.
• Working knowledge in IAM, cloud security, third‑party risk, or data protection domains.

Responsibilities

• Partner with security, technology, product, business, risk, compliance, legal, audit and communications to align policy updates and adoption strategies.
• Translate security requirements into practical, actionable expectations and guidance.
• Build trusted partnerships to drive alignment and successful governance outcomes.
• Develop communications, FAQs, implementation guidance, and readiness materials to boost policy adoption.
